President Buhari has approved tenure extension for the Controller-General of the Nigeria Prisons Service, Ahmed Ja’afaru, by one year with effect from July 21, 2019.
The Ministry of Interior representative, Mohammed Manga, in an announcement in Abuja on Friday, said Ja'afaru, whose residency was to end on July 21, was prescribed for the expansion because of "his reputation of imaginative changes in the Prisons Service."
